How do you get the canned taste out of artichokes?
Chef's answer
Jarred or canned ones are often marinated or pickled, rather than steamed. I use Trader Joe's canned artichokes and managed to get a good artichoke flavor out of them by soaking them in water beforehand to remove that brine-taste and then browning them on a non-stick skillet..
