Do you peel pumpkin before cooking?
Chef's answer
Clean and save the seeds for roasting, if you like. Place the pumpkin cut-side down on a baking sheet lined in parchment paper. Bake 35 to 50 minutes until the pumpkin is soft and nearly collapsing. Let it cool for 10 minutes, and then either cut off the peel or scoop out the flesh.
